PA-SA DEST Result 2026 Circle Wise

NOTICE

Subject: – Conducting DEST (Data Entry Skill Test) on 26.07.2026 in respect of shortlisted eligible candidates who have appeared in Paper-I of the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination (LDCE) for Promotion from Postman/MTS to Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) for the Vacancy Year 2026 and the Competitive Examination for Direct Recruitment to the Cadre of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant (PA/SA) from Eligible GDS Candidates for the Vacancy Year 2026, held on 28th June, 2026, in respect of J&K Circle.
Kindly refer to the subject cited above. In this connection, the list of shortlisted candidates who have qualified Paper-I and are eligible to appear in DEST of aforementioned examination is enclosed herewith. The Divisional/unit Heads will issue the Hall permits in respect of shortlisted candidates of their division/unit. The Hall Permits shall contain Name, Photograph, Roll No., Category, Reservation Category, Name of Centre, Date & Time of examination. The Examination will start at 0930 Hours on 26th July 2026 at Jammu, Srinagar and Leh examination Centre. The DEST will be done in shifts of 15 minutes each, in scattered timings.
2. If any candidates who have appeared in Paper-I of aforementioned held on 28.06.2026 and have any grievance that he/she has qualified in Paper-I but his/her roll number is not in the attached list, he/she can approach directly to the undersigned and submit the grievance in written at Circle Office Jammu or through e-mail at recruitment.jkcircle@gmail.com within two days positively from the date of issue of this letter.
3. The list of shortlisted candidates has been prepared as per minimum qualifying criteria circulated by Postal Directorate vide No. 17-08/2018-SPB-I dated 10.05.2019 and 26.06.2019 submitted as under: –

4. The minimum qualifying criteria for DEST (Data Entry Skill Test) as circulated by Postal Directorate vide No. 17-08/2018-SPB-I 26.06.2019 was further revised by Postal Directorate vide No. 17-08/2018-SPN-I dated 19.12.2022 and is submitted as under for kind information: –

5. All division/unit heads shall circulate this list amongst all the eligible candidates for wider publicity.
6. The venue of examination will be informed by the Centre Supervisors of Jammu, Srinagar and Leh Examination Centre with a copy endorsed to this office.
