Sub: Common LDCE/ Competitive Examination for promotion / recruitment to the cadre of Postman, Mail Guard and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) for the vacancy year 2026 (01-01-2026 to 31-12-2026) scheduled to be held on 12-07-2026- OMR Specimen for candidates – reg
Kindly refer to the subject cited above. It was observed during the generation of results for vacancy year 2025 that various mistakes / omissions were committed by some candidates while bubbling/filling-up the required columns/boxes in the OMR sheets.
In order to avoid this, an OMR specimen is enclosed herewith which may be circulated with directions to all the eligible candidates to practice filling-up/bubbling the requisite columns/boxes so as to avoid the mistakes in the LDCE/CE for PM/MG & MTS Cadre scheduled to be held on 12-07-2026.
Following instructions may be communicated to all the eligible candidates :
a. to practice writing/bubbling in the respective columns of the OMR specimen before appearing for the LDCE/CE on 12-07-2026.
b. to read the instructions given on the reverse side of the OMR specimen before filling-up the columns of the OMR.
C. The OMRs of the candidates who do not darken the bubble indicating the Series of the Booklet / Roll Number on their OMR sheets or had left Question Booklet Series / Roll Number bubbles as ‘blank’ or entered / darkened wrong bubbles would be rejected and the name of such candidates will be included in the list of “Reject Candidates”, as per terms of SOP para No. 10(19) dated 11-08-2022 and instructions issued on the subject.
d. It is the responsibility of the candidate to ensure that all the above required data/entries in the Answer Book/OMR are correctly filled-in and omission or lapses in these entries will be subject to rejection of the Answer script / OMR at the time of evaluation. The candidate should note that any excuses / requests will not be accepted later on for the incorrect marking in OMR sheets.
e. OMR will not be replaced after marking/bubbling of any column of the OMR Sheet by the candidate. This may be noted.
