I am directed to say that the competent authority has decided for holding DPC till 29.05.2025 for filling up the MTS cadre vacancies. As per Department of Posts (Multi-Tasking Staff) Recruitment Rules, 2018 amended vide G.S.R. 639 (E) dated 30.08.2023, 100 percent appointment will be done by appointment of causal labourers but as per report received from Divisions/ Units there is no eligible casual labourer is working in the Circle: Therefore, DPC will be convened now for filling up the MTS vacancies as mentioned in Column 10 (ii) (a) of above RRs which says:
“50 per cent on the basis of seniority-cum fitness from amongst willing Gramin Dak Sevaks of the recruiting Division or Unit, who have worked regularly for five years in that capacity, as on 1 day of January of the year to which the vacancy belongs to or as per the guidelines issued by the Central Government from time to time.”
- The formation of DPC in respect of Jaipur HQ Region will be as under. Date and place of DPC will be decided by chairman of the committee but DPC must be convened before 29.05.2025.
- As per RRs all willing GDS who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be considered for appointment in seniority cum fitness quota. It is also intimated that no selected willing GDS will be relieved to join till further communication from this office. Divisions will issue posting orders and obtain the willingness/unwillingness from the selected candidates and keep this in their office record. All the selected willing GDS may be relieved on a particular date fixed by this office for which separate instructions will be issued.
- All Divisional heads under Jaipur (HQ) Region and both ROs will intimate unfilled vacancies in enclosed format (Annexure 11) till 09.06.2025 to this office.
