APS ENROLMENT PROCESS

REVISED PROCEDURE DATED18 JAN2021 FOR ENROLMENT OF VOLUNTEERS FROM DOP TO APS

1. APPLICATION FOR VOLUNTEER OF DoP (Specimen of application enclosed as per Annexure I to this Appx ‘B’ to APS Dte letter No 90413/ Rtg/APS-1C dated 08 Aug 19)   Candidate to fill up the Part I & Part II of the application form and submit to Divisional Head.

2. DIVISIONAL HEAD

1. Divisional Head will scrutinize the application of the candidate and recommend in Part-IV of the application.
2. Divisional Head will prepare a Nominal Roll of recommended volunteers and forward their applications to Officer-in-Char e, APS Records, PIN 900746, clo 56 APO along with following documents in one lot by 05 ^h of Mar and 05^th of Aug every year under intimation to APS Directorate: –

(a) A certificate issued by Divisional Head as per Appx ‘A’ mentioned in para 3 of APS Dte letter No 90413/Rtg/APS-1C dated 08 Aug 19.

(b) Last month’s pay slip. (iii) First page of service book.

3. OIC APS RECORDS Check the correctness of certificate and requisite documents issued by Divisional head as mentioned above.If the application is completed in all respects, enter the name of the candidate in Field Force List and inform Divisional Heads & AROs   Fwd a confirmation letter to designated ZROs/AROs certifying that the candidate is eligible to be enrolled in the category he is applying for.Inform the concerned Divisional Head to relieve the candidate and instruct to report to the specified ZRO/ARO by 05th in the month of Apr and Sep every year for physical and medical exam.APS Records will forward the list of eligible candidates to APS Directorate for whom the confirmation letter has been issued for onward submission to Recruiting Directorate.

4. DIVISIONAL HEAD Divisional Head to relieve the candidate so as to report to specified ZRO/ARO by 05th in the month of Apr and Sep for physical and medical exam along with following documents: – S. No Details of required documents 1 Application for enrolment 2 Relieving Memo from the Divisional Head 3 10 Certificate and Marks sheet in original 4 12 Certificate and Marks sheet in original 5 Higher Education/Diploma Certificate and marks sheet in original 6 Domicile/Nativity Certificate in original 7 Aadhaar Card 8 PAN Card 9 20 x Latest passport size photographs

5. ZROIARO (FOR PHYSICAL AND MEDICAL EXAM)   ZRO/ARO will conduct Physical & Medical Exam of the candidate from 05th in the month of Apr and Sep.Intimate Divisional Head about the medical fitness of the candidate to relieve from civil duties before the end of the month of Apr and Sep for further enrolment to APS.

6. DIVISIONAL HEAD

Relieve the candidate immediately from his civil duties and direct him to report to ZRO/ARO before the end of the month of Apr and Sep along with all required documents and Last Pay Certificate (LPC).

7. ZROIARO Preparation of Rahdari Certificate and final despatch of the candidate to APS Centre by the end of the month of Apr and Sep.
